This is my friend Peat. He is a highly refined, mature gentleman (9 years old). But he still absolutely loves to play in the mud!

This bird is very late for a meeting. Yes, he is wearing a flying bow tie.

I was a teenage goth.

"Oh my gawwwwd, I have a friend that you'd be SO CUTE WITH," your friends gush. So you go, but, uh, he's not what you expected -- and you're not what he expected either. (Has this happened to you?)

This fellow is ready for his school portrait! Ballpoint, ink wash, watercolor, and white gel pen in my sketchbook.

I took the skulls of monkeys/apes I'd drawn about a year ago and incorporated them into some new collages that include mandalas I did about a month or two ago. Cutting, cutting, cutting, paper everywhere. I'm a huge mess. The second one is Billy / Jigsaw from Saw!

So this was merely a color practice with different brushes. I used marker, airbrush and paint. The hair is paint, the face, shirt, bow tie and shading was all used with marker. The airbrush was for the shiny effect on his bow tie. I have no rhyme or reason for this image, it was just something I created in my sketch book. I just needed to draw something to play around with.
